  Recently, at the invitation of Jinan People's Hospital, Shenxian County People's Hospital and Lanling County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, the emergency and critical care team of Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Provincial Hospital) successfully held a remote multi-specialty nursing consultation for three critically ill patients. The consultation on the cloud ICU platform for three patients was conducted by the emergency and critical care team as well as specialist nurses from nutritional care, respiratory therapy, venous thrombosis care, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation care, wound incontinence care, hospice care, neurosurgery. Yang Lijuan, Director of Nursing Department of Shandong Provincial Hospital, Qian Shuxuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Shenxian People's Hospital, Sun Lixia, Director of Critical Care Medicine Department of Jinan People's Hospital, and Shen Feng, Director of Nursing Department of Lanling County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine participated in the consultation and discussion.

  Director Yang Lijuan said that since 2017, Shandong Provincial Hospital has carried out more than 200 cases of multi-specialty nursing consultations, which has achieved good results in ensuring the safety of patient care and recovery of patients. Qian Shuxuan, secretary of Shenxian County People's Hospital thanked the nursing experts of Shandong Provincial Hospital for their guidance and help in this online consultation.   In the morning of February 25, eight specialist nurses and Zhang Jicheng, the chief physician of the Second Department of Critical Care Medicine formed a consultation team to conduct comprehensive and in-depth exchanges given the nursing difficulties of a case of uremia complicated with severe pneumonia in Jinan People's Hospital.
